This lock is an upgrade option on some safe models.

IMPORTANT

To ensure the safety of you belongings, you Must change the factory set Master Code to Your own unique code immediately!

Entry of 4 consecutive invalid codes results in a 5 minute delay period

Low Battery Warning

Repeated light flashing & beeping during opening indicates battery is low & needs replacement

Automatic Re-lock

The controller will re-lock in 4 seconds after a valid entry is made and the door is open

Audio/Visual Signals

Double Signal : 2 flashes & 2 beeps – indicates entry is valid or accepted

Triple Signal : 3 flashes & 3 beeps – indicates invalid or not accepted

Single & Dual User Mode

Single Mode : Open lock with 1 Code [Manager or User Code]

Dual Mode : Open lock with 2 Codes [Manager & User Code]

Time Delay & Time Window

Time Delay : A time period waiting for opening lock. The maximum Time Delay is 40 minutes

Time Window : A time period for entering code(s) to open lock after Time Delay. The maximum Time Window is 20 minutes

Always perform this operation with the door open

Before closing the door, make sure all the changes are correct.

Enter : Valid Code [and insert eKEY, if set up]
The lock will signal a valid combination entry with a double signal

Within 4 seconds, turn the keypad to the open position [clockwise] if using a dead-bolt style lock, or turn the handle to the open position if using a swing-bolt style lock.

Pull door open
Invalid Code Entry : Lock will signal 3 times

Entry of 4 consecutive invalid combinations starts a 5 minute delay period
Light flashes Red at 10 second intervals
Entry will not respond to any keystroke during delay period

Note:

Verify the new master code at least 3 times before closing the door to make sure the code is correct.


Operations between adjacent steps need be completed in 10 seconds. Otherwise, the lock system sets back to standby status.

Always perform this operation with the door open.

Enter : Existing Code & hold down the last digit until lock double signals twice & the light stays on
If eKEY is set up – Enter : Existing Code then insert & hold eKEY until lock double signals twice & the light stays on

Press : 0

Enter : New Code  New Code [and insert eKEY, if set up]
If a mistake is made wait 30 seconds and repeat steps 1 – 3

Test lock operation several times before closing the door.

CAUTION: When selecting a code do not use birthday or other predictable data that could give correlation between the user and code. Keep the code secret.

Note:

Repeated light flashing & beeping during an opening indicates that the battery is low and needs immediate replacement

Use only Alkaline Batteries [Example: Duracell ™ or Eveready ™ alkaline batteries]

Use one 9V Alkaline Battery in the Small Battery Box or six C-Cell Alkaline Batteries in the Large Battery Box

It is recommended that batteries be replaced at least once a year

If battery is depleted & will not allow lock to open:

Hold a new 9V Alkaline Battery on the contact points located on the front of the keypad
[large battery terminal to large keypad contactsmall battery terminal to small keypad contact]

Enter : Valid Code to open the lock [see OPENING THE LOCK]
NOTE: You must maintain battery contact at all times throughout the procedure

Change batteries as directed below
The lock contains a non-volatile memory, and even with batteries removed, the lock will retain all programming.

Small Battery Box:

Open safe door

Remove battery box cover by pulling the front portion away from the safe door

Remove battery by unsnapping it from the connector

Connect a new 9V Alkaline Battery to the battery connector

Push the battery & the leads completely into the battery compartment

Replace the cover & test the lock several times before closing the door

Large Battery Box:

Open safe door

Remove battery box cover by pulling the front portion away from the safe door

Remove the six old C-Cell Alkaline Batteries

Insert six new C-Cell Alkaline Batteries

Replace the cover & test the lock several times before closing the door.
